“Heat of the Week” was developed for JAM’N 95.7, an iHeartMedia radio station, to showcase San Diego’s hip-hop community, encourage website visits, and build awareness of the station.
While working at iHeartMedia, Daniel Travers, founder of Redideo Studio, produced the series and recruited on-air personality Beto Perez as its host. DJ JAM later joined the project.
The team recruited local artists and music producers through the JAM’N 95.7 website and industry connections, organizing performance rounds and interviews to highlight their talent.

As the show’s producer, Daniel handled:
- Branding and Graphic Design: Developed the show’s visual identity, including its logo.
- Videography and Video Production: Filmed and produced every episode.
- Website Publishing: Published episodes on the JAM’N 95.7 website.
- Social Media Marketing: Published and promoted content across the station’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.
- Audio Production Coordination: Coordinated audio engineers for the series.
- Talent Coordination: Organized participant involvement and coordinated the required legal documentation.
