About The Space
This space sits inside Redideo Studio in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, surrounded by the energy of downtown San Diego and close to anything you might need before or after a shoot.
It works well for San Diego video production or photography projects, whether you’re shooting interviews, product demos, portraits, or short-form content.
The setup is simple and efficient. The backdrops and lighting stay ready so you can walk in and start filming or shooting without a long setup process.
It’s a solid fit for solo creators or small teams who want a clean backdrop, controlled lighting, and an easy place to work without the cost or complexity of a large commercial studio.
You’re also steps from coffee, food, parking garages, and plenty of spots to reset between takes.

- It’s mostly blacked out and can hold up to ten people.
- Groups larger than five require an assistant.
The studio isn’t soundproof, but it works well for most talking-head videos, product demos, and short-form content. Since it’s in Downtown San Diego, you may hear some music from nearby bars in the later hours.
Natural light can be blocked out. The studio is about 90% blackout, and the lighting is set up so it doesn’t affect the backdrop or cause unwanted color spill.
Open Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 7 PM.
Your session time includes setup and teardown, so you can plan your shoot accordingly.
Downtown San Diego has limited street parking and only a small amount of free spots, but there are several secure parking structures close to the building. There’s also a loading zone in front of the building that makes it easy to load and unload your gear. Parking rates may increase during special events.
