Clint August of 101.5 KGB-FM, an iHeartMedia classic rock radio station in San Diego, hosted this promotional video for the station’s Hero Salute Blackjack Tournament at Sycuan Casino Resort.
The promotion encouraged viewers to enter the blackjack tournament for a chance to win a “Live Like a Rock Star” grand prize experience.
Daniel Travers, owner of Redideo Studio, a San Diego video production company, created the video while working at iHeartMedia.

The video brought together casino event promotion, a resort experience, and a familiar San Diego radio personality to encourage tournament registration.
The grand prize included limo transportation, dinner with Clint August, a one-night hotel stay, and cash. It also offered a chance to join Clint on air at 101.5 KGB-FM.
Clint’s role connected the promotion directly to the station’s classic rock audience. His presentation introduced the tournament and highlighted the experiences participants could win.
The video was created for social media and the tournament landing page on the 101.5 KGB website. Those placements supported both awareness of the event and the signup process.
