About Daniel Travers
Welcome to the official page of Daniel Travers, also known as “Redideo,” the founder and driving force behind Redideo Studio, a San Diego-based creative agency.
For as long as I can remember, creativity has been at the core of who I am. From a young age, I found satisfaction in drawing, sketching, and experimenting with art, whether it was portraits of friends, graffiti, or cartoon characters. My passion for creativity led me to take art classes at the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum in grade school. Across the street stood the Kansas City Art Institute, and I remember telling myself, One day, I’m going to go there.
That journey was not a straight path. In middle school, I discovered urban and street art, which reshaped my view of expression and gave me a bolder, more dynamic approach to creativity. In high school, I took commercial graphic design vocational-technical classes, diving into structured design principles while continuing my personal artistic explorations.
Like many creatives, I faced challenges along the way. I went through a rough phase, left high school, and earned my GED instead of a diploma. But art remained a constant, a creative anchor that helped me refocus and move forward. I went on to earn an AAS in Graphic Communications, refining my technical skills, and eventually earned a scholarship to the Kansas City Art Institute, where I received a BFA in Photo New Media.
The Intersection of Art, Music, and Motion
At KCAI, I wasn’t just focused on visuals. I was also drawn to music. As electronic music was gaining mainstream popularity, I became fascinated with how sound, visuals, and pacing could work together to create an emotional response. That insight continues to shape my video marketing approach today, influencing my use of rhythmic cuts and motion-driven storytelling.
I’ve always enjoyed experimenting across different artistic mediums, whether it was painting vinyl records, creating abstract art, or generating fractals. In college, I was fascinated by 2D fractals, and when 3D fractals were discovered in the early 2000s, they opened an entirely new way to explore complexity and structure in art.
My passion for storytelling also led me into animation, where I created and directed a lowbrow humor series about a fictional radio show and superheroes called Captain Sewer Pickle.
The Evolution into Redideo Studio
As I expanded my skills in web design, video production, and digital media, I saw how creative thinking could do more than express ideas. It could drive excitement, engagement, and business growth. During a little over 13 years working full-time at iHeartMedia San Diego, I generated millions of monthly organic views through online experiences, which showed me how combining innovation with technology can transform brand strategies.
For years, Redideo was simply my artist identity, a name I used across personal creative work. As I began collaborating with businesses and agencies that needed more than visuals, Redideo Studio formed naturally as a place where creativity and technology align with strategy.
Beyond Redideo Studio: Exploring New Creative Frontiers
While my work at Redideo Studio focuses on branding, video production, web design, and digital media, I continue to explore new creative frontiers. You can find my personal artistic explorations on DeviantArt, ArtStation, and my virtual NFT art gallery, where I experiment with merging classic art training with digital innovation.
This ongoing exploration fuels my ability to push creative boundaries, helping me develop fresh and innovative ideas for both my clients and personal projects.
Pushing Creativity Further with AI & Innovation
Creativity is always evolving, and technology has become an essential part of the process. The rise of AI has allowed me to streamline workflows, enhance production, and focus more on storytelling rather than getting lost in technical execution.
I don’t see AI as a replacement for creativity. It is a tool that pushes ideas further and brings concepts to life faster. Whether in branding, video production, or digital content, my goal is to combine artistic instinct with modern strategy to create work that truly connects.
What’s Next?
Whether through art, music, video, or emerging technology, I’m always exploring new ways to bring ideas to life. If you’re looking for someone who understands how to blend artistic vision with digital strategy, let’s talk. Creativity isn’t just what I do, it’s who I am.
Founder of Redideo Studio
Redideo Studio was built as an extension of my creative evolution.
What started as my artist identity, Redideo, naturally grew into a full-service creative agency that blends design, marketing, and video production to help businesses communicate visually.
I believe creativity is more than aesthetics. It is a strategic tool for engagement and impact. Whether through branding, video, or interactive digital content, my goal at Redideo Studio is to turn ideas into meaningful, results-driven visual narratives.
