Modern Website Design for Ami Samuel Interiors
After over a decade of full-time employment with a single company, the COVID-19 pandemic brought unexpected challenges that led me to pursue self-employment and re-engage with website development. Although I had prior experience building websites, it had been a while since I created a site from the ground up. Before my full-time role, I ran a small web development business, which eventually became less sustainable due to the rise of platforms like WordPress and pre-designed templates. Now, I find myself embracing these very technologies to stay competitive.
When I was approached by Ami Samuel Interiors, they had an existing website but felt it didn’t fully reflect their contemporary style and the high-quality work they deliver. They wanted a fresh, modern look with an interesting twist—incorporating a ‘rock star’ theme into their interior design brand. At first, it seemed like an unusual combination, but we managed to blend these concepts elegantly without going overboard.
I’m proud of the final product, and the client is equally satisfied. The stunning interior design photography made it easy to create a visually appealing site. The home and project pages feature several standout elements that I believe add a touch of sophistication. Take a look for yourself!
