San Diego has so many beautiful places, and after living here for more than 20 years, I still find new spots all the time.
The city never really looks the same twice. Shooting it in 360 degrees lets me capture that constant change, the light, the energy, and the feeling of being surrounded by it all. These three photos show a few of my favorite views from behind the lens.
San Diego Convention Center at Night
Shot from in front of the Convention Center facing the Gaslamp Quarter, this long exposure caught car trails, reflections, and the glow of the city lights.
Downtown at night always feels alive, and 360 photography captures that energy completely.
La Jolla Children’s Pool
The Children’s Pool in La Jolla is usually full of seals lounging on the sand, but not this time.
Waves hit the seawall from all sides, and the water kept shifting colors with the light. Capturing it in 360 showed how active the coastline was, even without the usual wildlife.
North Park Twilight Scene
Taken near the old Redideo Studio location in North Park, this shot captures a soft evening glow fading over familiar streets.
The mix of warm shop lights and cool sky tones reflects the neighborhood’s creative and local character.
